Greek Letter Deja Vu
There are a lot of Greek letters that you probably know, but just don't know that you know them. The purpose of this page is to jog your memory with videos and images of Greek letters that just might have you saying "Greek letter deja vu."
There are two slides in the frames above. Slide 1 contains a montage of video clips that go through the first half of the Greek alphabet as recognized by English speakers. Eddie Murphy talks about the "Alpha" dog, John Cusack mentions the "Beta" band, etc. all the way through to the cats that "Mu." ;-) The second slide is a montage of the second half of the Greek alphabet. I also have to show off a little with my version of the Greek alphabet to the tune of Frere Jacque as a way to help remember. Please overlook my singing. I can sing tenor solo. That is, ten or twelve miles away and so low you cannot hear it. LOL. Just use the double arrows in the lower left hand corner to toggle between the 2 slides and the arrow above the back arrows to play.
